- A 75 minute nutrition consultation
- An in depth look into health history, individual goals, and health concerns
- Review labs and order additional functional labs, as needed.
- Provide personalized support through evidence-based lifestyle, nutrition, and supplement recommendations to improve clinical markers
- Individualized designed nutrition and lifestyle protocol
- Continuous education (Ex. Improving hydration, decreasing inflammation, cooking quick nutrient-dense meals, recipe tips, etc)
- Continuous support and monitoring for improvements and healing
Functional Testing
At Optimal Health and Nutrition, we utilize functional lab tests. The purpose of functional lab tests is to identify the underlying root cause of health issues by providing a deeper look into a patients biochemical imbalances. This allows healthcare practitioners to create personalized treatment plans based on individual needs, rather than just treating symptoms. It helps to "dig deeper" to understand a patient's health beyond standard lab tests by examining various metabolic and nutritional factors.
Sports Performance
As a previous D1 collegiate indoor and beach volleyball athlete with professional beach volleyball experience, my job was to perform at my highest ability consistently.
